CLEAR BAG POLICY (see diagram on right sidebar)

•    Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”

•    One gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)

•    Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand or 6.5” x 4.5” with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options

•    An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the gate.


Ticketed fans in the seating bowl may enter through ANY GATE. The following are suggested entrances to easily access sections and to keep lines and delays to a minimum. Gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff, McCreary Tower opens 2 hours prior to kickoff.

In an effort to maintain he safest possible environment for fans, coaches and student-athletes at events hosted at Truist Field and LJVM Coliseum, Wake Forest Athletics has implemented metal detection at each entrance to both venues. The screening process will require additional time to enter the stadium, so fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays. Fans should expect to remove phones, cameras, and metal objects such as car keys from their pockets before entering the metal detector. 


  • Fans are encouraged to arrive early and tailgate prior to the game
  • Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium gates at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff to avoid lines and support the team during “Open the Gate”
  • Propane grills should be used when tailgating. Charcoal grills are discouraged from the premises due to charcoal waste
  • Kegs are permissible, however groups providing kegs are responsible for monitoring consumption and making sure those consuming alcohol are of legal age
  • No liquor consumption
  • No glass container allowed
  • All tents are restricting to grassy areas-no tents should be erected in parking areas, unless and additional pass (an empty spot where the tent is to be located) is purchased.
  • No external stereo system allowed. Out of courtesy to others using the parking lots, only portable radio/stereo units will be permitted
  • Gas generators are prohibited for safety reasons
  • Portable bathrooms are provided throughout the lots
